Me: "I love homecoming dances. Every school that I’ve ever been at held one at least once during the semester. Of course, they probably would've been alot more fun if I was a social butterfly but..
I was pretty shy, so most of the time, I either came by myself, or I came with a few friends. Of course, we didn’t come just to stand there and chat, we came for the music. Now, I understand that some of you might not be totally familiar with whatever songs are played at homecoming (especially if you live somewhere outside the United States), and that’s totally fine.
However, if you’ve ever been to a dance at any American high school, then you’re probably already familiar with some of these songs. *cough* Cotton eyed Joe and applebottom jeans. Everytime I hear either of these songs play, I tend to go all out...

..kind of like that one time in senior prom. We were all sitting there and waiting when I grew impatient and that’s when I felt the need to let it out. So, I stood up, walked over to the front of the dance floor, and let it all loose. This guy (who happened to be right beside me) was dancing as well and looked as though he knew what he was doing. I, on the other hand, looked like I was spazzing out but anyway...

The one thing that really stood out wasn’t even the music or the people.. it was the food and drinks. In most cases, there weren’t any. Seriously, the only thing my school ever served us was water. Water, guys. WATER! And we didn’t even have any food or anything. Oh wait, actually that’s a lie. We did have food, but it wasn’t until my high school senior prom that the teachers finally decided that they needed to spice things up. So, we ended up having a whole lot of food!

I’ve also noticed another thing; literally every homecoming and school dance plays the same songs over and over again, just on repeat. Yeah, I know why; the songs are pretty good and everyone likes them, but it does get annoying after a while especially after they’ve been played on an ongoing loop. I would leave school and everytime I did, I would still hear music playing... even long after l already left.
One of my favorite songs has to be don’t stop believing and you shouldn’t stop believing because this is a motivational blog and I am an inspirer, so, it is my sole obligation to keep you feeling motivated and inspired. So, don’t give up on your dreams and keep reaching for the stars! Oh yeah and one last thing,
♪ don’t stop believing ♪
♪ hold on to that feeling ♪"

Alright, that's all I have for now. Make sure that you come back for more and last but not least, stay safe and keep reading!
